Matthew Warter is a highly experienced financial advisor with over a decade and a half of industry expertise. His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Western Washington University, an Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning and Tax from San Diego State University, an M.B.A. from Gonzaga University, an M.S. in Finance from Seattle University, and an M.S. in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. Matt holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, as well as Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial and a California Insurance License.
After beginning his career in financial services in 2006 at Smith Barney, Matt spent 11 years as the Regional Director at Russell Investment, where he worked with 1,000 financial advisors throughout Southern California. Now an advisor for The Warter Group, Matt works with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, families, and businesses, and leverages his years of experience to develop comprehensive financial plans that align with his clients' unique objectives and circumstances.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Marcela, and son Julian. He enjoys golfing with friends and family, playing tennis, cooking, hiking, surfing, and traveling. Matt also loves food and wine, and is a member of Chevaliers du Tastevin, Commanderie de Bordeaux, and Chaine des Rotisseurs.
