Susan Bowers is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® practitioner. With over two decades of experience, Susan's mission is to simplify the complex world of finance for her clients. She takes pride in bridging the gap between their current financial picture and their financial/lifestyle aspirations. 

This journey involves two key steps. Initially, she works with clients put safeguards in place to address their immediate financial needs. Next, she builds intermediate- and long-term strategies that incorporate accountability measures and remove obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving goals. As part of that planning process, Susan integrates proactive tax planning and year-round guidance, helping clients identify opportunities and align their tax strategy with their broader financial plan.

In addition to her wealth management and divorce financial planning work, Susan now leads a tax office focused on providing professional tax preparation and tax planning for individuals, families, and small to mid-sized businesses. This expanded offering allows her to support clients with both forward-looking planning and the real-world execution that brings a plan to life.

Regardless of the season, she aims to guide her clients toward their financial lifestyle goals, assisting them in making impactful financial decisions.

Susan serves a diverse clientele, including business owners, professionals, educators, and high-net-worth families. Drawing from her personal experience as a young widow, she extends her expertise to clients, navigating the financial aftermath of losing a spouse. She understands the sensitivity and complexity of situations involving death and divorce, and she approaches them with compassion, crafting wealth management plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and long-term objectives.

As an alumna of the University of California, San Diego, Susan is deeply committed to education and community advocacy. For over a decade, she has actively contributed to various educational boards, focusing on enhancing education and securing funding for crucial initiatives.

Her involvement with the CFP® Board Scholarship Committee underscores her dedication to advancing the financial planning profession and nurturing the next generation of financial planners.

When She's Not in the Office

You can often find her baking, golfing, playing pickleball, or spending quality time with her husband Ryan and their two sons.
